    Dr. Michael Anbar has been our guest speaker at DFJCA and some members have inquired about a more detailed seminar given by Dr. Anbar on various topics relating to the historical perspective of the Israelites and their neighbors.  Dr. Anbar is a well respected scholar and lecturer in Palo Alto, California and Buffalo, New York.

Dr. Anbar has graciously agreed to conduct a six part (six week) seminar which he would  hold for both members and non-members of DFJCA beginning Monday, February 4th, in the evening.

Cost for this seminar will be $60.00 for each attendee, and as you can see by the topics listed below, well worth the time and token cost.

Topics will be:

1. Israelite-Egyptian relations

2. Israelite-Greek relations (before and after the arrival of the Philistines) 

3. Israelite-Phoenician relations

4. Israelite-Syrian relations

5. Relationship with the kingdoms in Trans-Jordan (Moab, Amon, Edom)

6. Relations with Arabian peoples (Midian, Amalek etc.)
