                           DFCA Pastoral Committee

DFJCA has organized a Pastoral Committee to help its members in their        time of need when there is a death in the family.  We understand    that this is a time when support, comfort and guidance is needed, and DFJCA is prepared to help in the following ways:

     1. We will inform our members via E-mail that a death has taken

         place and we will provide information about the funeral and

         Shiva.

    2. We will be available to support the mourners by guiding

         and helping them with decisions that need to be made.

         We have available a list of Rabbis, mortuaries, cemeteries

         and food caterers.

     3. We have members who, upon request, will attend and conduct

        (if available) Minyan Service in the Shiva House.  Prayer books

        for the service are available on request.

     4.  We will provide, as available, assistance with any other needs

          on a case-by-case basis.
